The Happiest 5k on the Planet just got a whole lot brighter: with the 2015 Shine Tour. The Color Run's Shine Tour is designed to lift spirits, boost endorphins, and sprinkle a little fairy dust onto your life - quite literally. Along the route you'll find a unique Sparkle Zone, be doused repeatedly with brilliant bursts of color, and reach the finish line looking more rainbow nymph or satyr than mere mortal. Start out in white - you'll want a blank canvas for all the delicious dyes and pigments that are about to surround you. When you reach the finish line, you'll take part in the glowing, sparkling after party - showing off your bling and glitter, and dancing with your friends. The only thing that'll shine brighter than your colors will be your big, beautiful smile.

In March 2011, some very colorful, life-loving folks got together and created The Color Run, an event to promote happiness and health by bringing the community together. Dubbed the "Happiest 5k on the Planet", The Color Run is the original paint race and has set the tone and the bar for other colorful runs popping up around the world. In just a few years, The Color Run more than tripled in size, and hosts over 300 events yearly - and now they're in over 50 countries around the globe. 2015 marks the inauguration of the Shine Tour, a brand new tour that will have you unleashing your inner sparkle and shining your brightest.
