If there is a problem processing your purchase, Rush49 displays a warning box along with a short explanation of the problem that occurred. The following is a list of the most common errors along with possible actions you can take to correct or resolve the problem.
The credit card number is invalid.
The credit card expiration date is invalid.
The credit card has expired.
For these errors, first check the card number and expiration date entered on the payment screen to ensure they are all accurate and contain no typos. If you find an error, fix it and then attempt to complete your order by clicking on the Complete Order button.
Of course, if the card information is correct but the card is expired, you will have to use a different credit card to make your purchase.
The Card Code (CVV2/CVC2/CID) is invalid.
For security reasons, in addition to the credit card number and expiration date, Rush49 requires purchasers to enter the CVV2 number, a 3 digit (Visa, M/C & Discover) or 4 digit (Amex) number printed on the credit card.
The following image shows where you can find the CVV2 number on your credit card:
Remember, for Visa, MasterCard and Discover, the 3 digit number is on the back of the card, and for American Express, the 4 digit number is on the front of the card.
The transaction resulted in an AVS mismatch.
The address provided does not match billing address of cardholder.
For your protection, Rush49 requires you to enter the street address and ZIP code tied to your credit card.
If they do not match the billing address maintained by the credit card company, the purchase will not go through.
If you get this error, first check to make sure that the address and ZIP code entered at Rush49 is correct. Remember, it is the billing address, which may or may not be the same as your home address.
Note for credit cards with non-US billing addresses: If the billing address for your credit card is outside of the United States, that will frequently cause an address error. If you have verified that your non-US address has been properly entered and Rush49 will not process the purchase, you will have to use PayPal to complete your purchase. PayPal's versatile payment system is very often able to approve and complete purchases not allowed by our credit card processor.
This transaction has been declined.
There are several reasons why a purchase might be declined even if you have more than enough credit left on your credit card to make the purchase.
If you have reached your credit limit...
You will need to use a different credit card to make your purchase.
If you have credit for the purchase but the transaction was still declined...
It may be that the purchase is for a large amount but your bank does not have any purchase history with Rush49, and that may cause them to decline the purchase or put the purchase on hold.
If you think this may be the case, you may need to call your bank (using the phone number on your credit card) and inquire as to whether this is the case. There may be other reasons for a bank to decline a transaction, be sure to call them and ask for an explanation if you know you have enough credit for the purchase.
In addition to errors processing a payment at Rush49, there are a number of other reasons why Rush49 might be unable to complete your purchase.
The following is a list of the most common non-payment-related errors and what they mean:

At Rush49, our deals are offered starting at a specific date and time and ending at a specific date and time, and deals can only be purchase when they are active in our system.
On occasion, it is possible for a deal to be promoted prior to it being offered, so if you receive this error message when trying to complete a purchase, you should check the deal to see when it will officially be offered for sale.
Keep in mind that this error will only be returned if the deal is already scheduled to be offered at the site, so we recommend you check back and complete your purchase once the deal goes live.
Unfortunately this deal has expired. We will attempt to complete your transaction within 24 hours. Please contact support@rush49.com for additional help. Allow up to one business day for a reply.
As mentioned above, deals at Rush49 are offered for limited amounts of time. Once the time is up, the deal cannot be purchased unless we offer that same deal at a future date.
Note: We always do our best to allow our members to purchase deals that they want, and for some deals, especially non-event deals (services, experiences), we can often contact the merchant in question and have them approve the sale. If you want it, and want it bad, call our toll free number and we will see what we can do to get you the deal you want to purchase.
Keep in mind: Our merchant partners often run the same deals from time to time, so if a particular deal is expired when you attempt to purchase it, keep in mind that the same deal may be offered at a later date. If you want to be notified, via email, when the deal is once again being offered, be sure to set a reminder using the reminder icon that you will see on the deal page:

Many of the deals at Rush49 have limits on the number of vouchers being sold, so if you get this error message when trying to purchase a deal, that means there are currently no more vouchers left to sell.
Be sure to check back later: When our deals sell out, we normally contact our merchant partners to see if they want to increase the number they are willing to sell. As a result, we recommend you check back later (or the next day) to see if more vouchers have been added to the deal.
Get on the Wait List: The easy and smart alternative when a deal is sold out is to add yourself to the Wait List by clicking on the Waitlist Icon:
When more vouchers are made available, we will send out email notifications to folks on the Wait List (in the order they signed up) letting them know the deal is once again available. In addition, even if more vouchers are not added, anyone on the Wait List will be notified down the line if we offer that deal at a later date.
Unfortunately there are not enough vouchers available to complete this order. Please contact support@rush49.com for additional help. Allow up to one business day for a reply.
If you are attempting to purchase more vouchers than we have left to sell, Rush49 will give you this message. It does not mean there are zero left to purchase, but it does mean that there are not as many available as you want.
Remember, before you purchase a deal you need to select the quantity that you want to buy, as shown in the following image:
If you get this error, either reduce the quantity and try again, or call us at our toll free number and we will see what we can do to fill your order or add more vouchers.
To safeguard purchases made on our site, we require customers to enter their name, address and the card CVN (Card Verification Number) or security code. If any information associated with the credit card account is a mismatch, the payment will be declined. In other words, the address (and other info) entered must match the address associated with the credit card account or the payment will be declined.
As a matter of procedure, credit card issuers often place a temporary hold on funds during a transaction. This hold will be visible on the credit card statement. However, if the charge is declined, the hold will be cleared within one business day.
When a purchase is declined, Rush49 will notify the customer of the reason. If the transaction was declined for other than insufficient funds, the customer is encouraged to correct the errors and try again.
If, however, the transaction is still declined, Rush49 recommends either trying Paypal or please contact support@rush49.com for additional help. Allow up to one business day for a reply. We will be happy to assist you.

As a Rush49 member, you can view your entire purchase history by following these steps:

switch to that voucher list.
If you purchased a Rush49 deal as a Guest, you will not be able to log in to Rush49
to view your vouchers. Instead, a special link will be sent to you
in the confirmation email you will receive soon after your purchase which will allow you to view all vouchers
purchased using your email address.

Immediately after placing an order, you will receive an email receipt confirming that your purchase has been processed. That email will contain redemption instructions and voucher code(s).
In addition, Rush49 allows customers to access their purchased vouchers any time by logging into our Rush49 web site.
Please note that some exceptions apply, so please follow the instructions in your order confirmation email.
Once the expiration date is reached only the promotional value expires but the paid value is valid for at least 5 years.
But, we encourage merchants to honor the full promotional value out of good will.
Some exceptions apply on event-related deals and special deals and those restrictions are clearly stated on the deal.
If you have already placed your order and would like to know the restrictions on the deal then refer to the confirmation email sent to you.
Depending on the deal, some will just be valid on or until a certain date and time, but we will make sure to clearly highlight that information to you before you buy.
For online deals that need to be redeemed on our merchants' site, please refer to the instructions in the confirmation email along with the Rush49 voucher code(s).
For all other deals, login to Rush49 My Account section and print out the desired voucher(s).

It is the duty of every merchant to collect and remit tax accordingly to the applicable local laws. The promotional value of Rush49 vouchers may not be used towards paying applicable taxes.
You will not be able to receive store credit or cash back for any remainder value of the voucher. However, some exceptions apply. One example is the use of a Rush49 voucher for multiple health related treatments/sessions which may not be used all at once. The restrictions/redeem instructions on the deal usually clarify this point. If you are still having doubts, please contact us here.
Rush49 will show you your remaining vouchers as well as the already used ones. When you are logged into our Rush49 site/apps refer to the My Account section which has your vouchers organized into Unused, Used, Gifts Purchased and Gifts Received.

This Rush49 Refund Policy is effective for all deals and RushPasses (including events and activities**) purchased on 11/01/2011 and thereafter.
If any charge for any ticket is charged back by the customer there will be a $35 charge back fee along with a 50% collection fee if assigned for collection.
Lastly, please note that Rush49 reserves the right to uphold its expressed all-sales-are-final/no-refunds policy with only the following conditional exceptions:
If the experience you have purchased is not available, due to cancellation or closures related to COVID restrictions, you are eligible for a full refund or exchange up to one year from your purchase date.
If we receive word that a participating merchant/event organizer cancels the experience/reservation/activity you paid for, Rush49 will gladly issue you a refund.
Likewise, if we are notified that a participating merchant/event organizer has to reschedule the experience/reservation/activity you paid for, you will have the option to either attend the rescheduled date or Rush49 will gladly issue you a refund.
If you purchase a Rush49 Gift Voucher and the recipient does not use/redeem the voucher, contact us within 90 days of purchase, and we will gladly offer you a Rush49 account credit for the full purchase price you paid. Please send us an email to support@rush49.com with your request.
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
As the coronavirus situation evolves, the safety of our customers is paramount. We're working hard to do everything we can to be prepared and address your concerns.
Due to increasing event postponements and cancellations amid COVID-19, please allow 7-10 business days to process order related inquiries. For customers opting to take a website credit over a refund for a cancelled event due to COVID-19, we will credit the amount paid plus an additional 20% to your Rush49 account. This credit does not expire and can be used toward most deal on our site. Please send us an email at support@rush49.com to begin processing of your request.
Unless stated otherwise in the deal, if, for whatever reason, within 24 hours, you purchased Vouchers/RushPasses for an activity or event that has not yet transpired and that you would like to request a refund for, please send us an email at support@rush49.com with your request and we will issue you a refund (less any service or processing fees where applicable) if your total purchase amount for that transaction is less than $500.00. [*please note that under no circumstances will Rush49 issue refunds for events that have successfully concluded, irrespective of time or date of purchase.]
If you are unable to redeem a voucher prior to its expiration date due to a refusal of the Merchant to honor it when you have followed the terms of the deal, a lack of the product or service offered, or their inability, for any reason, to deliver the Product or Service you purchased, you have the option to request a refund in the full amount of the Purchase Value. If requested within sixty (60) days from the time of purchase, the refund will be credited to the payment method used at the time of purchase. If requested after sixty (60) days, the purchase amount will be credited as Rush49 Account Credit applied to your Rush49 Account and may be used towards the purchase of any of the deals on our site.
On *select* deals and events, Rush49 charges a non-refundable service and convenience fee to offset our considerable out-of-pocket costs associated with bringing these unique and special events & experiences to our marketplace. Sometimes these fees offset "pay-to-play" costs associated with paying the organizer or merchant to retail the deal on Rush49.com; sometimes they offset permitting or licensing fees related to the event or activity; sometimes they offset additional deal production costs. In many instances, those deals that do have built-in processing fees would never be able to make it to (Rush49's) market if those fees were not charged. In any case, although you purchase itself may warrant a refund, these convenience fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Refunds may take up to five to ten (10) business days to process. When requesting a refund, please email your request--along with your name, voucher number and reason for the refund--to ,refunds@rush49.com. Please remember to allow up to five (5) business days to process your request and up to seven (7) business days for the transaction to be reflected on your payment provider's (credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc.) statements due to the inherent delay associated with online banking prototcols.

If you choose to pay for any purchase or transaction on the Rush49 site using a credit card, those credit card details, with the exception of the last four (4) digits of the card number, are never stored by Rush49 or on Rush49 servers and can never be accessed by Rush49 personnel.
Remember, your credit card details are encrypted using 128-bit SSL encryption and are safely stored by Braintree (a copy of Braintree security policy is available here: https://www.braintreepayments.com/features/data-security) in a secured database on servers housed in a secured data center. Firewalls, virus protection, physical location protection, 24/7 monitoring and other industry-leading data security protocols are all in place to protect both our databases and your encrypted personal information.
You have the ability to review, edit, and delete any payment information. Furthermore, you may, at any time, review, edit any personal account information we have stored on you by logging into your Rush49 account.
Please note, however, that due to compliance with federal laws and fraud prevention, Rush49 is unable to permanently delete your account.
