Jump Start Your Heart and the warm fuzzy feels with this family friendly 5K and help support The Children's Heart Foundation! There's no better way to share your generous heart on Valentine's Day then by helping others! You'll run along the boardwalk and palm trees of San Diego's beautiful Mission Bay to raise awareness and bring health, hope and happiness to children and families impacted by congenital heart defects. And after you've done your good deed, you can stay and play in the beer gardens (21+ only), play in the beautiful surrounding park and enjoy a lovely day by the beautiful San Diego waters! Jump Start Your Heart will have music and activities, so come on! Join the party! Raise awareness and money for a good cause, and celebrate with your community!

It is a 100% non-profit 5k walk and run for people of all ages. The goal of The Children's Heart Foundation is to bring health, hope and happiness to children impacted by congenital heart defects, the number one birth defect in the United States.
