The show is joined by satirical music and movement performances and after each performance there will be a talk back with the artists.

Dêmos Krátos Theátro: Plays By and For the People - Ten actors, four playwrights, one singer-songwriter, and one clown explore the meaning of democratic engagement, with inspiration from the Greeks. Utopia Theatre Project Artistic Director Maryssa Wanlass and Bay Area playwrights Cleavon Smith, Carol Lashof, and Kenneth Heaton take on the issues of political organizing, voter suppression, and voter apathy. Joining them are satirical singer-songwriter Lauren Mayer and clown Amelia Adams.
