The dedicated people from the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary have come to the rescue and have taken in an American Black Bear orphan, a gray fox that was drowning a pool, and a mountain lion that was being kept as pet. These animals were all lucky enough to be brought to the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, where they can live happy and peaceful lives. You can visit these animals and more at a 10-acre haven located in the beautiful Prescott, Arizona. This is not what you would call a typical zoo, it's a sanctuary. A large number of Heritage Park's animals were rescued from various life-threatening situations. These animals were previously injured, abandoned, or marked with a human imprint that prevents them from rejoining their wild habitats. The goal of HPZS is to provide a sanctuary for non-releasable wildlife and to help ensure the future of wildlife in general.
