The Encinitas Half Marathon covers more than 7 miles of the most beautiful oceanfront that Southern California has to offer. The race starts and finishes at the Moonlight Beach parking lot overlooking world renowned Mooonlight Beach. This is not just another road race! The organizers have worked hard to make the event a memorable one. You'll pass by iconic landmarks such as the Surfing Madonna Mosaic, Encinitas Boat Houses, the Tipsy Tiki and Swami's Temple all while running down historic Hwy 101 enjoying the ocean breeze and the sound of waves crashing. Your extrordinary accomplishment will be well rewarded at the finish line with a well deserved medal and a party with live music, an idulgent breakfast, and goodies provided by the race sponsors. If you're looking to continue the celebration you can head over to the Encinitas Bazaar for the after party where you get a free beer with your bib. We encourage you to sign-up early. Fine Print

You must complete the half marathon in at least 3 hours and 30 minutes. That is a 16 min/mile pace
Strollers ARE allowed, but all stroller parents will start at the very back and must stay on the shoulder of the course. This will be enforced
There is NO FEE to pick up your bib at the Expo!
$20 fee to pick up on race morning - no exceptions. (Cash only. At Start/Finish Line Area)
Must be 13 years or older. All participants under 18 years old must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian
Valid only for option purchased
