Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary is far from being the typical zoo attraction. With over 350 animals across 100 different species, the Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit that helps rescue animals that otherwise would no longer have a home. The whole family will appreciate the beautiful Hill Setting as you have an up close experience with these gorgeous creatures. The Austin Zoo and Sanctuary prides itself in helping animals through rescue, rehabilitation and by providing an in depth education to our patrons that you just won't get at any other zoo. We are proud to be home to lions, tigers, monkeys, snakes, lizards, giant tortoises, peacocks that roam the zoo, domestic animals such as goats, pigs, sheep, as well as three black bear cubs recently rescued from Oregon! So get this deal and have an experience you won't find at any other zoo or animal sanctuary anywhere else in the world!

The mission of Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary is to assist animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation and education. We currently have over 300 animals from over 100 different species at the Zoo. Austin Zoo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and we rely on private donations, gate admissions, grants and sponsorships to continue to care for the animals we have, and to be able to take in new animals that need a safe home.
