Are you ready to get soaked, D.C.? The Water Gun Run is the ultimate outdoors event for those who just wanna have fun! Grab entry to this 2-mile run and get ready for a water gun battle at every turn. You'll navigate your way along a trail in the heart of D.C., race into "no squirting" safety zones and win dry t-shirts along the way. Watch out for hidden water gunners on the path--they'll be around every corner, ready to fire gallons of cold water at you! Make it to the finish line for one of the biggest water gun fights you can possibly imagine, then stay for the after-race party with live DJ music to get the party going. It's the most fun you can have celebrating the start of summer in the nation's beautiful capital!

The DC Running Club was founded in 2008 as a nonprofit organization, dedicated to engaging the DC, MD and VA communities. Walkers and runners of every age and all abilities are encouraged to participate to get fit and healthy, with some of the club's proceeds benefiting local charities. The DC Running Club holds a number of events throughout the year, including the 5-Mile Disco Roll Or Run, The 12Ks of Christmas run, and the warm-weather favorite, the Water Gun Run.
