Just east of downtown Dallas, Fair Park gears up for the annual 5K Urban Dash where runners--both seasoned professionals and beginners--take part in one of the city's most popular obstacle races. This event guides participants through parts of historic Fair Park not ordinarily seen by others, with more than a dozen challenges along the way. Balance beams, wall climbs, cattle rails, dumpster dives, and even crushed cars are just some of the unique and exciting obstacles runners can challenge, and once they do, a finishers medal is waiting for them at the finish line.
