Then, the hunt begins - where you can peruse original artwork, collectables, and delectables in a unique bazaar by the bay. Now an SF Bay Area hallmark as well as Northern California's largest monthly gathering of artists, collectors, designers, crafters and food trucks, Treasure Island Flea debuted on Memorial Day 2011 as a way to support local artists and entrepreneurs. The event was so successful it was quickly coined "The Festival of the Bay" and has made a regular appearance the last full weekend of every month with an average attendance of 15,000. It definitely doesn't get any better than this!
