Way more fun than I expected. Very good guy starting off our 5k. Also fun, kind short haired woman giving out swag. Love the feeling of the whole thing. Negatives were that the 5k crowd got lost twice. We swam a muddy ditch for a long length only to discover it wasnâ€™t a part of the course. Should have had someone posted there to direct and also very much needed for safety. Ideal area to have a drowning. Scary that not one official person was there. Some guy showed up in a golf cart and yelled at us to cross the unmarked field. We waded through thick brush. We were all worried about snakes, ticks and possibly gators. We also ended up on the other obstacles. No flags marking 5k course. In addition my 81 year old dad paid $25 to watch us. He was directed to only the last obstacle where he sat in the direct sun for hours. He could have seen more than one but no one assisted him. What a rip off for him. You need more shade for people viewing the event. We all assumed he would be able to photograph us in several spots. Overall Iâ€™d say you needed a wee bit more organization. Youâ€™ve got enthusiastic people but they werenâ€™t in the right places at the right time.

Poorly marked course. 2 events crisscrossing without signage or volunteers. The few volunteers they did have were lost as to which way to direct people. The worst managed race I have ever run.
