Chicago's annual Tomato Blast is on and you're invited to take part in an unforgettable event that pits you against your friends and soon-to-be-friends, throwing, squishing, pelting, and stomping on up to 50,000 lbs. of tomatoes in an energy-filled environment. Live music will be playing throughout the six-hour event and you'll be able to grab cold beer and delicious dishes from food trucks while you're taking a breather from all the action. In an event of a tomato shortage the organizer will replace tomatoes with some fun substitute such as water or mud.
Throwing a tomato at someone's head is not allowed. Any participant in violation of this rule will be removed and asked to leave immediately.

Tomato Blast is Chicago's answer to Spain's annual La Tomatina Fest. Located at Soldier Field Festival Lot, hundreds of people come together to have the greatest tomato fight of them all, with 50,000 lbs. of tomatoes ready to throw, stomp on, squish, and pelt. But if that wasn't enough, Tomato Blast also features incredible live music throughout the event and serves up ice cold beer to quench the thirst of tomato-pelting participants.
