From 1969 through 1974, no other rock group had more Top 10 hits, sold more records or filled more concert halls than Three Dog Night. Their hits are interwoven throughout the fabric of contemporary pop culture, whether as mainstays on the radio, in TV commercials or in major motion pictures — songs like “Mama Told Me (Not To Come),” “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” “Shambala” and “One” serve to heighten our emotions and crystallize the group’s ongoing popularity. Now they’re coming to the stage of San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts Theatre.
