This event was a wonderful retreat for me. The convention center was beautiful and the event was well organized. All levels of yoga expertise were offered and the teachers were very personable. There were even alternative and experiential activities that participants could attend throughout the day. This was well worth the cost and I look forward to attending this event again in the future.

My friends and I were really excited about attending our first Yoga Expo. Unfortunately, the event was disorganized from the minute we walked in. I downloaded the class schedule two days before the event. When I arrived, the electronic listing of classes was completely inaccurate and so was the schedule I had downloaded. We had no idea of what time, what classes, or in which rooms any classes were being held and neither did several of the door monitors I asked. I wound up taking photos of a schedule that one door monitor had which was correct after wasting a lot of time being sent back and forth to incorrect rooms. My first class was Meditation/Relaxation being held in the Expo Vendors room. That was a rude awakening since loud rock music was being played in there, bright lights were on, the sound of people talking to vendors was loud, plus we were lying on a cement floor. I was told that the pre-sign-ups (which I wasn't aware was an option) indicated that the original room that I was sent to twice was too small. No one was able to tell me that this class was in the back left corner of the Expo room so my friends and I along with lots of other attendees wandered around the vendors until we found the class. By the time we found it, we definitely needed to relax. Unfortunately, loud rock music drown out the instructors who didn't have mics. I attended a class on Happiness because my preferred class was full. I didn't realize that I should have gotten in the line for that class 30 minutes early. I found the class about 35 minutes early and there were 8 people in line so I went back into the vendor area to finish looking at their booths and when I returned to the class line, the class was already full. The positive thing about this class was that we held comfortable poses for long periods of time and did some nice vinyasas as well. The presenter's message and teachings were very simplistic so that part was disappointing and I gained nothing from it. Again, I enjoyed that yoga poses and vinyasas. I had a wonderful class lead by a German couple and thoroughly enjoyed a Gong Meditation class although, again, it was in the Expo room and we were lying on cement. I had to sit up after about 30 minutes due to back pain. I would attend again and hope that the online class schedule will be correct. I will get in lines a lot sooner now that I know classes fill up quickly. I hope that presenters will be prepared with mics in case they wind up in the Expo room but, even more, I hope that no classes will be in the Expo room. This event has potential to be awesome. For the mostpart, the vendors were really nice.

The idea was great however it was stressful because the classes were first come first serve and it appeared too many tickets were sold therefore to be able to get into a session...people were lining up 30-45 minutes ahead of time. I wish the sign up prior option was valid

Yoga expo was fun and peaceful. The classes were closed quickly due to so many people participating. Easy parking, Easy checkin, and overall gong meditation was the best💙

There were too many people for a class. Bigger areas need to host. The gong yoga was so bad, worst place to put it in the expo hall. So loud. This expo has to be rethought it was not good at all. The schedule of classes should have been left on the screens. Poorly organized

The expo is a fun place to get exposed to different styles of teaching and practice. However, the rooms fill up quick and the event is over-sold so that it is difficult (sometimes impossible) to get the class you want.
