We are constantly surrounded by blinking, flashing, overwhelming sights. The Blind Cafe gives you an experience that takes that all away, and places you in dark serenity. It's mission is to encourage positive social change by creatively holding events entirely in the pitch black without the use of blindfolds. They do this to bring awareness of the daily experience of the blind, and they do this by creating a wonderful evening where people can connect and learn together in a concert, discussion and dinner without their sense of sight. If you are worried that you won't be able to go to the bathroom, do not be. The Blind Cafe's events are staffed by professionally trained and "legally blind" staff to help you see, both mentally and physically. Come experience a once in a lifetime event while helping a great cause with The Blind Cafe.
