Gear up for the ninth annual Temecula Half Marathon and race around one of the world's most beautiful courses. The race will again take place along the scenic Galway Downs, weaving through farmland and vineyards, before finishing at an extraordinary wine and beer tasting event. It's an incredible way to support your local community and give back, with all proceeds going towards the Rose Again Foundation.

USEFUL INFO:

21+ participants get to enjoy our signature post-race tasting garden with wine, beer, Boochcraft, and other fun libations!
Additional tasting tickets and glasses are available for purchase online and will also be available onsite while supplies last. Yes, spectators can partake too! DON'T FORGET YOUR ID, no exceptions
Family and friends can participate in the wine tasting as long as they are 21+ with a valid ID. Extra signature logo'd wine glasses and tasting tickets will be available for purchase during the registration process and at the race - be sure to bring cash or card and your ID
Although they highly recommend going to bib pick-up in order to make your race morning easier, it is not required. Bib pick-up will also be available on race morning starting at 5:30am until the race starts
Please allow plenty of time to park, walk to race site, get your bib, and walk to start line by the time your distance starts
A $10 parking fee is included in your race entry. There is parking for all runners on-site but there will be a lot of cars arriving at the same time so allow yourself plenty of time to park and walk to race site
No need for Starbucks or brunch reservations, there will be coffee and food trucks onsite for you
HM Terrain: The half marathon course is mostly paved roads with a wide dirt road at the beginning and the end. This is wine country so they recommend training on a few hills
HM Elevation: Beginning elevation is 1198 ft and max elevation is 1962 ft
5K Terrain: The 5K course is paved and fairly flat except a wide dirt road at the beginning and the end
5K Elevation: Beginning elevation is 1199 and max elevation is 1409
Strollers are allowed
Pets are not allowed
All registered 5K and half marathoners will receive a finisher medal
There will be course support every 1.5-2.5 miles. In addition to water, Honey Stinger energy fuel/gel and Ultima Replenisher electrolyte drink will be at select course support stations
The half marathon course is limited to four hours. However they will not kick you off of the course, you just have to obey traffic laws as the roads open back up
A tech tee is included with half marathon entry. You have the option to get a t-shirt with your 5K & entry, just choose the "5K + T-Shirt category". And if you decide you don't want a shirt, you pay less!
The Temecula Half Marathon & 5K will take place rain or shine. However, if conditions are determined by city officials to be unsafe, the race will be rescheduled. No refunds will be made

It was so fun! I would totally do it again! I mean, we get to run either a half marathon or a 5k (I did the half) and then drink wine! Would definitely do this race again. :-)
