St. Patrick's Day is on the horizon and Green Stride Races knows just how to get you in the Irish spirit--their St. Patty's Day marathon! Choose between a 5K or 10K course and you'll lace up those sneakers for a day to remember, with the beautiful and scenic Salisbury Beach State Reservation as your backdrop. When you reach the finish line, you can forget about going home to relax. This is where the St. Patty's Pub Crawl begins, with three local Salisbury bars welcoming you with free food, drink specials and live Irish music. Each bar is within a few yards of the other so you can give those legs a rest for the evening and celebrate St. Patrick's Day without a worry in the world (unless, of course, you forget to wear green--in that case, be prepared for a pinch or two!).

Green Stride Races is in its second year, bringing St. Patrick's Day spirit to Massachusetts' Salisbury Beach State Reservation with a 5K and 10K run that puts participants through their paces. Runners enjoy a scenic ocean view along the paved marathon course and loop around to reach the finish line. Think that's where the day ends? No way! With a slogan like "Come run, come crawl" you can expect Green Stride Races to put on a lively pub crawl immediately following the race. Three of your favorite bars--Carousel, Uncle Eddie's and Dolphins--will open up after the marathon, serving free food, drink specials and present live music to top of the day.
