The Village at Squaw Valley is dedicated to respecting the mountain, and if you've been to Squaw Valley, you know why. The stunning vistas and pristine landscape, cool, clean air and natural grandeur demand nothing less than reverence. It's here, in beautiful Squaw Valley, that your race begins. Children and adults alike can run in the Big Blue Adventure Squaw Valley Half Marathon - a 13 mile run that will take you along a paved trail surrounded by natural beauty, through the valley and along the magnificent Truckee River before arriving, back at the Village, for the after party and awards. Respect the mountain; respect your spirit; respect the run: this is one event that will reward you in every way.

This deal is nonrefundable.
There is no age minimum. However, if under 18 then a parent or guardian need be present to sign the wavier.
Age groups are in 5 year increments, by gender (0-14, 15-19, 20-24, etc.). Age is determined by the runners age on 12/31 of the race year.
There is no cut off time. You can walk the race if you'd prefer, whatever you'd like to do to have your own Big Blue Adventure. Please inform us ahead of time if you are going to walk the event, it will help us keep track of you.
Map and terrain information can be found on each of the trail runs respective web pages under the maps and venue links.
Packet pickup is on Saturday June 13th at Salomon Store Squaw 3:30-5:00PM.

Big Blue Adventure (BBA), also known as Seventh Wave Productions (SWP), was started by Todd Jackson, who originally focused the company on windsurfing and inline skating. But soon the passion for action was too much and the company grew - developing a team of enthusiasts and taking on biking, hiking, cross-country and more. In 2002, BBA hosted the first Tahoe Big Blue Race, and they've never looked back. Now, BBA is the destination for all your outdoor endorphin lifters, including running, biking, triathlons, 5Ks, adventure racing, stand up paddling, and even travel. All events celebrate the natural terrain of the landscape and promote environmental awareness, even donating a portion of proceeds to regional charities.
