Feeling up for a little challenge? Special Z Games will test your skills when dropped into a post-apocalyptic, zombie fun mud run. The 5K will have you running for you life while being followed by over 250 zombies along the way. The run will take place in Pinto Lake County Park you'll be running through woods, climbing up hills, and jogging on the flatland. Throughout your zombie-filled mud run, you'll have to overcome some speed bumps along the way. Crawl, jump and cross over 12-15 obstacles that will be in your way. It's time to show the post-apocalyptic world what you're made out of! This isn't some ordinary mud run. It's organized by Special Z Games to make Every Day Disabilities Awareness Day! The race has been created to bring awareness and build bridges to the issues faced within society, school systems and community agencies for children and adults with special needs. When having these types of issues, it can feel as though you are living in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infected world, running for your life to avoid having your brains eaten. Special Z Games's goal is to make everyone feel welcome and a part of society today. After getting down and dirty in mud, come enjoy the party after the finish line! For completing the mud run, you'll also be rewarded at the finish line with your very own medal and t-shirt. This 5k is for all ages, so make sure you come support the cause and bravely defeat the challenge! Make a difference and get involved at the Special Z Games.

Special Z Games is a post-apocalyptic, zombie fun mud run in Santa Cruz County, and our goal is to bring attention and awareness to the issues faced within society, school systems and community agencies for children and adults with special needs. Getting an education and accessing community services with special needs means overcoming daily obstacles, public policies and laws to get what is needed to be successful and a contributor to society. Together we can make a positive impact and make positive change in these systems.
