We've all heard the old joke, "Why did the shrimp refuse to share?"..."because he was a little shellfish!" Don't worry - you won't have to share at this day-long seafood extravaganza, the 2nd annual SOBE Seafood Festival. All the best local seafood restaurants will be there in a mini cafe area, with seafood dishes starting at just $5, and all their signature specialities will be available. Finally, you can eat like a king while indulging in a king crab, and let the world be your oyster while enjoying them on the half-shell. Fine seafood dining is usually a delicate choice, but now you can have it all. So go ahead - be a little "shellfish". Participating restaurants for Saturday's Festival include, but are not limited to: Joe's Stone Crab, A Fish Called Avalon, Altamare Restaurant, Cafe Avanti, CIBO, City Hall the Restaurant, CJ's Crab Shack, Naked Taco, Park Central Cafe, Poseidon Greek Restaurant, Red the Steakhouse, Tarpon Bend, Smith & Wollensky, and Whole Foods.

The Hess Select South Beach Seafood Festival was so successful in their inaugural year, they're back for more - and even bigger! Last year's restaurant participants included Cafe Avanti, Poseidon, Joe's Stone Crab, Cibo, Red, and much more! This month is "Seafood Slam" and all the big fish are turning out for the occasion. The festival this year starts on Wednesday, October 22nd with Joe's Stone Crab Kick Off Dinner, continues with a Wine and Dine and even a "Seafood and Sneakers" ball under the stars before arriving at Saturday's SOBE Seafood Festival, where seafood lovers can indulge their culinary whims all day long. Pick up a glass of Hess Collection Wine for perfect pairing, and don't forget your dancing shoes!
