Huzzah! It's the event you've been waiting for! Take a trip back in time to the days of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I and Shakespeare. The San Jose Renaissance Faire gives you the chance to immerse yourself in the European culture that once was. With 800 costumed performers, you'll experience the commotion of a Renaissance village as though you were really there! Interact with townspeople, Knights, and even royalty. Come one, come all and get ready to be delighted with three stages of continuous entertainment throughout the grounds. You won't be able to take your eyes off of jugglers, plays, and jesters. But make sure you don't miss the battle between two Knights fighting for a place in Her Majesty's Court, and a lucky maiden's affection. These brave Knights will be jousting with full contact on the backs of majestic horses until one is knocked down. With all this excitement, you'll work up an appetite for tasty turkey legs and more. Wash it all down with the town's finest ale or mead. Peruse the many authentic trinkets from close to 100 merchants spread all over the village - selling handmade arts and crafts, jewelry, woodcrafts, artwork, ceramics, clothing, historic weapons and leather goods. So put on your proper Renaissance garb, and head out to the San Jose Renaissance Faire for an unforgettable time with your family and friends.
