Whether you're a seasoned sake expert, want to try sake for the first time, or just wanna drink sake for sake's sake, this festival will surely be a treat to your tastebuds. Sample from expert distillers from Japan and the US, and experience a variety of the latest sake, shochu, plum wine, and sake-based cocktails. Select bottles will be for sale on site, so you can take your favorite home to create your very own concoctions. To fully enjoy your sake, you'll want to be well fed - peruse the food booths to find your perfect pairing, whether it be traditional Onigiri, Otsumami snacks, or Japanese American fusion burgers. Ever tried traditional Japanese matcha? Take a break with this warm and delectable green tea, along with Sen-cha, Houji-cha, and tea flavored snacks. With your belly warm from the many flavors of Japan, you can sit back and enjoy the entertaining beats and moves from local groups such as Cal Raijin Taiko and San Francisco Awakko-Ren.

J-POP SUMMIT, hosted by SUPERFROG Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a Japanese cultural festival held every summer since 2009 in San Francisco. By introducing the latest in Japanese music, fashion, film, art, games, tech-innovations, anime, food, as well as niche subcultures, the festival has become a landing platform for new trends from Japan. The festival is also getting attention as an effective opportunity for promotion and entry point into US markets. In 2014, the festival was held in Japantown and enjoyed 120,000 in attendance in two days. In 2015 in our seventh year, we expand the festival area to four different locations in the city; Fort Mason Center, Union Square, NEW PEOPLE Cinema and Castro Theatre.
