Are you ready to let loose and get wild? You'll do just that in the Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle Race. Start and end your race in a day-long festival with drinks, music and games. Then, once you start, you'll embark on a course over 3 miles and more than 20 obstacles of pure insanity. Run, jump, shimmy, and slide through challenges such as fire jumps, trampolines, ropes, tunnels, and plenty of mud. Once you cartwheel across the finish line, you maniac you, a party awaits with an ice cold beer (21+ of course), finisher's medal, beach volleyball, contests, and endless fist bumps. So drop the hum drum, and prepare to conquer the epic challenge of a lifetime!

Extreme heat this past weekend led to an alert regarding hydrating and an extra watering station. All well and good, but water was hot, not warm HOT, because all containers and bottles were in the sun. I watched as volunteers dumped cases of bottles into dirty pools (why??? Certainly not to cool them). Water was not pleasant to drink, just to dump over body. What a waste of good water....

I had a blast. Being 66 years old I was nervous about the course especially because of the heat, but I loved it. I only passed 3 obstacles so I think that is pretty good for me. Looking forward to doing another one. The only thing that was missing was the huge slide at the end which I was told was in prior ones.

It was my first time and I loved it..!!! It was amazing, fun! Challenging! Entertaining! I’m so glad that I did it.!! I went with my wife and my 3 kids, they were at side cheering for me! They had fun like me...!!!!

The run was awesome!! Only thing I would suggest is the water to be cold at the water stops.. some of that water was hot and not so helpful!

i loved it however, the leapfrog hurt a lot when you fall. i would suggest some sort of cushioning at least on the sides
