Could you outsmart a zombie? How about with a little help from your friends? Ahwatukee Children's Theater has developed a brand new, interactive theatrical concept: Trapped in a Room with a Zombie. This event is a great team-building exercise, fabulous inspiration-stimulation, and super fun. Each show requires participants to solve as many clues as possible in under an hour in order to escape the room - and just to keep it interesting, there's a zombie chained up in there with you. If the zombie touches you, you're "eaten," so move quickly, because his chain gets longer every 5 minutes until he can reach everyone. Don't worry though - even if you're eaten, you can help from the sidelines, so no matter what, you'll go home having worked together as a group to get out of a tricky situation. It's not intended to be scary - just good, safe, innovative, zombie-filled fun.

Ahwatukee Children's Theater (ACT) provides year-round education in the performing arts to give young people and their families a positive, creative, inspirational experience! Theater is by nature a team sport and a practice of community, collaboration and integration of talents and skills. The staff at ACT work hard to ensure that ACT will always be a safe place of inclusion and family-like support for all the children involved.
