In 2011, when the world was introduced to the idea of "PopUp" dinner parties, Garrett Sathre and Nicole Benjamin-Sathre were living just north of San Francisco, California and had just launched their own company, HandMade Events. The perfect location to host an affair focused on food, entertainment, and especially people, Hand Made Events lit the spark of PopUp Dinners. Their vision emphasized the beauty of the location, the importance of participation, and the powerful effect of bringing people together. The PopUp Dinner is still growing because of its power to bring people together over food and wine underneath the cities they love.
