The Pet Walk Jog Run is holding its inaugural event at Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville, Virginia, where participants not only get fit, but have a blast competing alongside their pets. Pet owners walk, jog or run the 1K, 3K or 5K course, listen to DJ music and enjoy a petting zoo after the run. A portion of all sales going to the American Humane Association and their mission, to ensure the welfare, wellness and well-being of children and animals, and to unleash the full potential of the bond between humans and animals to the mutual benefit of both.
