The SDCCU Marathon & Half Marathon is returning for its 15th year and promises to be bigger and better than ever! The gorgeous, scenic courses take you through the Southern California coastal communities of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. With a Marathon and Half Marathon and 5K there is a course for all ages and running levels. The weekend is packed full of activities beginning with the 2-day extravaganza known as the OC Lifestyle & Fitness Expo, which will be held at the OC Fair & Event Center. The Ultimate Finish Line Festival & Festival Village will be held following the OC 5K on Saturday, with all the great music and fun vendors that have become synonymous with the event. Sunday, May 5 is the day to break out your big boy (or big girl) shoes for the Marathon & Half Marathon. Known for its coastal scenery, tranquil nature views, and the sophisticated arts & shopping that offer a great backdrop for this extraordinary race. Participants must be 16 years of age or older to participate in the Full Marathon
Participants must be 14 years of age or older to participate in the Half Marathon
Online registration is required. You can register on line through 11:59pm on May 3
A valid photo ID will need to be provided when picking up your packet
Hard copies of the release waivers must be signed when you pick up your packet
There will be no race day packet pickup
Personal items storage will be available
Pre Race shuttles will be provided from the finish line to the start line. Full Marathon Shuttles: From 3:00am-4:45am. Half Marathon Shuttles: from 4:00am-5:45am
Participant on course time limit is 7 hours for the Full Marathon
This deal is non-refundable
This race is a Boston qualifier
iPods are allowed on the course
Baby stroller joggers will be allowed, but you must start at the back of all the participants
In-line skaters, bicyclists, as well as pets will be prohibited on the course in order to ensure the safety of all runners

great venue, lots of water stations, easy parking at start, not so easy at finish; finish festival is totally cramped, hard to navigate, and it is not clear where to go to check finish times
