Participate in Northwest Indiana's only 26.2-mile marathon! The Crossroads of Northwest Indiana Marathon is a fantastic way to see some of the area's beautiful surroundings while improving your running time as a half-marathon or full-marathon runner. No marathon experience is necessary with this event--simply lace up those sneakers, slap on that marathon bib and either walk or run your way to the finish line. Finisher medals will be given to each participant who completes the course within the specified time (6.5 hours for full-marathon runners and walkers who maintain a 15 minute mile), and if you're dreaming of running the Boston Marathon, you're in luck--this race is an official Boston Marathon qualifying event, too.

About

The Crossroads of Northwest Indiana Marathon is a thrilling marathon event started by runner and RRCA Certified coach, Frank Johnson. Wanting to bring a marathon to his part of the country to show everyone "Indiana hospitality," Johnson created a Northwest Indiana marathon that's designed for first time runners just as much as it is for seasoned marathoners. Starting at Freedom Park, this marathon winds its way around two beautiful lakes, and offers both half-marathon and full-marathon entry.
