The 2014 Nordic Food Festival has arrived, time to prepare for mouth watering food tastings and a delightful culinary experience! The festival will include kitchen collaborations at NYC restaurants -- pairing together local and Nordic chefs -- pop up restaurants and roundtables, cooking classes at the International Culinary Center and a street food festival hosted at Brooklyn Brewery.

First on Saturday, September 13th from 11am - 4pm join us for the NORTH Tasting & Demo Day. Enjoy a food sampling of Nordic food and drinks from the likes of of Unika by Castello, Slippurinn and Blenheim Farms. Learn about alcohol and food pairings and how to combine unique flavors. You will not be disappointed - but you will be full and satisfied! This event is located at The International Culinary Center, 462 Broadway, New York.

Or maybe you have more of a sweet-tooth? On Saturday September 13th from 8pm - 11pm, Join NORTH for dessert for the Indulgent Swedish Coffee and Dessert Tasting . Chefs create a coffee-infused dessert tasting menu. Recipes inspired by and paired with Gevalia coffee! Perfect for coffee lovers and desert loves alike! This event is located at the Openhouse Gallery 168 Bowery St. in Nolita.

Then on Thursday September 19th from 7pm - 11pm come by for the Nordic Craft Beer Pairing Dinner. Enjoy a pop up dinner where the food pairs with the beer! Scandinavia and Brooklyn join together for this exciting and delicious dinner! This event is located at the Openhouse Gallery 168 Bowery St. in Nolita.
