The Canadian Nitro Nationals is Canada's only NHRA drag racing series and now in its fifth year. Held from July 11th to the 13th, this adrenaline-filled event is located at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, and boasts a whole weekend full of drag racing. Nitro funny cars pushing 8000+ horsepower, the world's fastest triple engine 36,000 horsepower semi jet truck, and jet dragsters than go more than 300 mph can all be expected at the nationals, battling it out for fame and glory. As well as track action, the nationals is also a fantastic place to meet and mingle with other motorheads, and to celebrate the summer every evening with an incredible fireworks show.
