Get ready for Long Beach's annual New Blues Festival on September 1st and 2nd at El Dorado Park where you'll groove to the best new blues artists around. Over 30 bluesy acts including main stage performers Lowrider Band, Casey Hensley Band, New Blues Revolution, Boxcar 7, Javina Magness, Union Hobos and more will hit the two stages for one weekend only. The lineup is filled with local, regional and international new blues acts, that will leave you wanting an encore! On top of all the great performances, the winner of the 6 String Showdown will be crowned on the main stage of the festival. The 6 String Showdown, presented by New Blues Festival, is a series of regional competitions to find Southern California's all-around best blues guitar player. Exciting stuff right?! And, the festival features so much more, explore the grounds and enjoy snacks and refreshments for purchase from the bar, craft beer trailer, and delicious food vendors. Don't forget to check out all of the merchandise vendors at Vendors Village and grab a souvenir while you're at it. Spend your Labor Day Weekend the right way and jam out to soulful tunes at the New Blues Festival.

It was a fun event! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Music was awesome! They could have used a a few more porta potties. Although towards the end they let us use the Park's restrooms as the three porta potties that were there were full. I think it seemed definitely more people than last year! Last year it ended up raining in the middle of it. So sunny skies brought more people! The food was good as well. Ordering the tickets through rush49 was easy breezy thoroughly enjoyed it looking forward to using it more!

Very good value on this purchase.The price is fair for this festival. Enjoyed last year, even though the closing act got rained out.
