The Mad Marathon has been called the world's most beautiful marathon for a reason--it takes racers along dirt and back roads of the gorgeous Mad River Valley. But don't be fooled by these breathtaking views; you'll still have a challenge before you, with tough climbs and descents, and challenging rolling farmlands to conquer. Qualify for the Boston Marathon or grab entry to the half-marathon to go at your own pace. And if you're planning a weekend with friends and family, enter as a relay team to really put teamwork into the mix. Pre-race activities--including July Fourth celebrations--will keep you relaxed before race day, and a Beer Garden at the finish line or a dip in the nearby Lareau swimming hole will make it all worth your while!

Packet Pick Up:

Race packets, chips and race bags must be picked up at the host hotel, the Waitsfield Inn, Friday, July 4, 2014 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM or Saturday July 5, 2014 between the hours of 9AM and 6PM. Late pickup Sunday morning July 6, 2014 between 5:30AM and 6:30AM.
