Glow ever-brighter as the last night of 2014 grows darker! At 11pm you'll be off on the Run to New Year 1 mile, dashing around the twinkling, decorated Northgate Mall in San Rafael. At 11:15 the Resolution 5K will follow in gleaming procession! Both runs are part of the Mad Dash to Midnight. Every runner will be raising money toward a charitable cause of his or her choosing - you can support Marin Food Bank, MADD, or find the cause that makes your feet fly just above the pavement as you run. When it's closing in on midnight - and on 2015 - everyone will gather together to countdown the last few moments of a year well-lived, and toast to the future with hot apple cider in souvenir mugs. These last shimmering minutes of 2014 will propel you into an even more brilliant future! On the path of health and happiness, every step counts.

CEO Jason Jacobson and Designer Cassie Fairfield are race experts and all around groovy, life-loving people, just like the participants in the races they create. In 2000, Marin Runs started out with the simple and silly-named Marin Turkey Trot and a handful of dedicated trotters; today Titanium Racing, Inc draws crowds of over 1600 per year. Their values are still local and true to their roots, however: these events are always charity-focused and whole-community-encouraging. From the fastest sprinter to the slowest stroller, there is something for everyone in each one of these events!
