Run with the Police, not from them. Seriously though, join the LAXPD and other law enforcement agencies as they run to raise proceeds for the Tommy Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund. Tommy Scott was the first LAXPD officer killed in the line of duty and is warmly remembered as the "kindest officer on the force". The fund has awarded more than 20 scholarships over the past 13 years. The race is the only of its kind to run along the perimeter of the airport and the course is USATF certified. There will be an Opening Ceremony as well as Awards Ceremony for the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon. Don't miss out on this opportunity to go the distance with some of LA's finest and support a great cause at the same time!
