Las Vegas Marrowthon - Las Vegas

This is not just your average run of the mill 5k! This is a 5k with a worthwhile and amazing cause! Have fun, run or walk, but know that while you're doing your body a little bit of good, you're also helping fight for those who can't fight for themselves. Held in the Bruce Trent Park, the Las Vegas Marrowthon raises awareness and money for those in need of bone marrow transplants. For people with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma or other diseases, a cure exists! Be The Match connects patients with their donor match for a life-saving marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant. An ordinary person could be someone's cure as a member of the Be The Match Registry, financial contributor or volunteer. So come on out, enjoy a beautiful day in the park, and maybe even help save a life! There will be a Tot Trot for the little ones (about a quarter mile), so bring the whole family and show the little ones the joy of giving back to their community!
