Best known as a film actor and star of such box office juggernauts as The Fly, Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Lost World and Independence Day, Jeff Goldblum has another talent: acclaimed jazz pianist. Goldblum and his band of musician friends call themselves the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra (named after a family friend), performing regularly at Los Angeles' Rockwell Table and Stage. The group returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko following a sold-out engagement in 2015. Don't expect a staid piano recital, though; Goldblum's show is anything but. The setlist often feels completely extemporaneous and Goldblum himself usually appears before the show starts as his own opening act, interacting with the audience over movie trivia and such.
