With over 25 obstacles and 5 mud pits, the Hot An Dirty Mud Run in Acton, CA is anything but an average race. People of all fitness levels are encouraged to release their inhibitions and tackle this muddy 5k course with all they've got! Participants will experience a killer workout by getting down and dirty on a roughly 3 mile course filled with obstacles to climb, crawl, jump, slide and of course, run through. The first wave of runners takes off at 9 am and waves run every half hour. Come for the run, stay for the celebratory after-party, featuring a costume contest, great music, tasty food, and plenty of thirst-quenching beverages. The best part about this fun run is that a portion of the proceeds go to Operation Homefront A win-win!

My wife ran it and thought it was good! Itâ€™s only her second 5K obstacle course sheâ€™s ran. More climbing on this course than the other course she did. Reminded her she needs to work on her upper body strength. No frills event....but weâ€™re okay with that! Will definitely comeback next time!

If your not ready to take on a Tough Mudder or Spartan race then this is a great event to get your feet muddy. The obstacles are fun and not overly challenging. One of the best features is that is it local and affordable.
