Wanna be a part of the biggest beer bash since Oktoberfest? Celebrate Chicago's growing Craft and Micro-brewery culture with some of the best local beer and food the north shore has to offer at the Highwood Craft Beer Festival! Over 40 breweries will be in attendance with 80 different craft beers to try. You'll be regaled with live music from area bands Almost Joe and Snafu as you sip and sample. And never fear, there's much more than pretzels to nibble on with this brew. The festival features local food vendors serving up traditional Irish and American pub far, South American fusion flavors, and more. You'll even get a souvenir glass so you can take a piece of the action with you when you go. Participating breweries include 4 Hands Brewing Co., Begyle Brewing Co., Only Child Brewing, and Greenbush Brewing Co. just to name a few. Don't miss out on the food, fun, and the flavor of Chicago. Together they have been the go to events organizers and promoters for the Chicago area since their founding in 1998. Chicago Scene is a nightlife industry online publication covering the hottest events in the city, 'social media' well before social media.

The Arts of Life is a non-profit community arts program dedicated to fostering artistic potential in everyone. It is a non-abilist organization that caters to those with or without disabilities. As the first program to provide career opportunities in the arts to those with developmental disabilites, The Arts of Life has been a staple of the Chicago community for 14 years.
