The Heroes of America Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the National Infantry Museum. The race runs through parts of Ft Benning and the beautiful Columbus RiverWalk. The Heroes of America 5k also takes place at the National Infantry Museum immediately after the Half Marathon start. Register today to honor the service and sacrifice of the American military and first responders.

• The minimum age to register for the Marathon is 16 years old, 10 years old for the Half Marathon, and 6 years old for the 5K
• Packet pickup will be at the National Infantry Museum on Friday, May 27 from 11am to 7:30pm and Saturday, May 28 from 6am to 7:45
• Parking: There are several places to park on race day:
  • Parking lot of the National Infantry Museum
  • Parking lot at Oxbow Meadows across the street from the Museum
  • Side of S. Lumpkin Road south of the National Infantry Museum
  • Grass parking lot on S. Lumpkin Road about 1/2 miles south of the Museum
  • Benning Road south of the Museum

This marathon course has been ran over the last 10 years. The name may have changed, but the values have not. Heroes of America Marathon starts at the inspirational Heritage Walk. The course will take you down the Riverwalk, through downtown, and even through Fort Benning. It is more than a marathon it is an adventure.
