The FIT Challenge 5K Mud Run will have you climbing, sprinting, springing and crawling through the beautiful WWI Park of North Attleboro. Not only is the terrain beautiful and diverse, but there's an even an old ski slope that's being incorporated into the FIT course! Be ready for anything - you won't know what to expect until you come across it - but don't worry: one thing the FIT Challenge promises is that, by the end of it, you'll be thoroughly covered in mud!

FIT Challenge founder Robb McCoy had participated in so many obstacle-course races, he finally got the itch to create his own. But first, he had to come up with a name. He landed on FIT, an acronym for fortitude, integrity, and toughness, each of which is necessary to take on a physical challenge or tell a waiter he brought you the wrong meal. Robb's inaugural event took place in August 2012, a 5K mud run that drew more than 1,200 participants and raised more than $5,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Robb plans on organizing plenty of more events in the coming months-so long as they challenge people and raise money for noble causes.
