The 5K begins at Sports Authority Field while swimmers are exiting the water at Sloan's Lake, and you'll run along the beautiful South Platte River and Cherry Creek River Trails. About

The first and only urban triathlon in it's area, The Denver Triathlon tests athlete's limits against the thin air of the Mile High City. The swim portion takes place at picturesque Sloan Lake while the bike portion takes the two-wheeled speedster in and around the Denver metro area. The 5K run eases along the South Platte River Trail and Cherry Creek River Trail before returning downtown for the post race celebration. The Denver Triathlon is a perfectly well-rounded event for all well-rounded athletes, looking for a mighty challenge.
