Cryptid Trails' central story was created based on the Windigo tale, which comes from Native American folklore often used as a moral lesson, only this one is a little creepier than your average fairy tale. It is a Native American spirit that was told as a way to scare people away from devouring human flesh, where no matter how hungry you are you don't stray off of the path to eating your fellow man. • The average walk-through is approximately 30 minutes. Walk-through times can be longer or shorter based on the speed of the group. Those who are scared seem to move a lot faster or slower than average walking speed
• Wait times vary by day and hour. As it gets closer to Halloween, expect longer wait times due to the popularity of the haunted house
• Parking is free
• There is no age limit, but due to the intensity, Cryptid Trails does not recommend that children under 13 attend the event. If they do attend, they do not walk through alone
• The attraction uses Strobe Lights, Intense Sound & FX Lighting, Low Lighting, Moving Floors, Sudden Movements, Gun Fire, Physically Demanding Environment
• Absolutely no touching the actors/props
• DO NOT ENTER if you are not physically fit and able to walk long distances over rough terrain
• Proper shoes must be worn. (No high heels. No costumes)
