Welcome to the most colorful (and we like to think it's the most fun too!) 5k you'll ever participate in! There is no time limit, so walk, run, roll, whatever you like, because you'll look fabulous and you'll be doing it vibrantly! You'll be be hit with colored powder from our designated color throwers, but don't worry! It's made from cornstarch, and it's 100% safe, non-toxic and completely biodegradable! So bring the family and wear something fun! Not only will you be helping the community, but you'll be tickled blue! (Sorry, we couldn't help ourselves on that one!)

Color The Mountain 5k is brought in participation with the Mountain Communities Coalition Against Substance Abuse. MCCASA is a non-profit coalition working with The Family Resource Center and made up of local community members, businesses, agencies, schools, and parents working together toward a common goal of building a safe, healthy and drug free community by creating awareness of the dangers and laws regarding underage drinking and drug abuse.
