A wild and crazy 5K fun run where mobs of people throw, spray and shoot colors at you while you run!
Wear something crazy, or simply wear white. Either way you'll look like a rainbow after the run.

Or you could do something totally crazy and different, and run around Brooklyn while getting sprayed with a rainbow of colors. Sounds too good to be true right? Nope, The Color Mob 5K fun run is just that - a wild scamper around the city while mobs of people lob colored cornstarch your way. There's nothing more to it. FAQs

How old do I have to be to attend?
All ages are welcome! But everyone 8 or older requires a ticket. 7 and under are free! Just bring those under 7 with you on the day of the run and we'll have you sign a waiver for them. No need to register them ahead of time.

What is this color that you speak of? Is it safe?
It's simply colored cornstarch. Nothing unsafe here. Unless you're allergic to colored cornstarch.
FYI: The color probably won't completely wash out of clothes/shoes so make sure you wear clothes that want to have colored permanently.

Is the run timed?
No timers here. This is a fun run, friends. Everyone is a winner!

My dog/cat/ferret likes to run. Can it come too?
Sorry, but no pets allowed at the Color Mob 5k.

What about strollers?
Strollers are perfectly fine! Get that baby on the Color Mob bandwagon! BUT, not all of the routes are on pavement so stroller at your own risk.

The Color Mob 5K fun run tours around the country, setting up exciting and exhilarating race courses in various cities. Participants run, skip and cartwheel their way through 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) while colorful colors are slung at them from each side of the street. The runners clothes are like a canvas that becomes a living, moving piece of abstract art. After the race, music, refreshments and beer are provided for the exhausted and colorful racers.
