Color Fun Fest 5k is the only run that takes Holi, adds black lights, and bumps up the electric dance music to create a 3.1-mile-long cacophony of sound, light and color, glowing through the night. Over 10,000 pounds of color will be showered into the air over you, making you part of the rainbow spectrum yourself. Industrial-strength black lights illuminate the course, highlighting the party atmosphere thrumming in time to live, high voltage dance music. This run is safe for all ages and levels, and there is even a day-run if you'd rather not run after dark. The ColorFunFest is based upon an ancient concept called Holi, which is a traditional color festival that takes place in India. ColorFunFest turned it into an entertaining 5K run, helping you get in shape while having an incredibly good time. The color is made of a non-toxic powder, and people are encouraged to finish the race in any style they see fit - run, jog, crawl or skip to the finish line. The more people can have a great time while shedding pounds, the more likely that they'll continue to work on their fitness and stay in great shape.
