Enter the Chambers of Horror, an adults-only haunted experience that goes beyond its name in a grisly display of gore, torture, and jump-out-of-your-skin terror. Dormant since the uncovering of over 200 bodies in a fire of 2012, the site formally known as Torture Co. has been opened once more as a special forces recruitment center. Led by a Dr. Splechter, known as "Doctor Splatter", the torture and mutilation continues in a secret government-sanctioned operation that combines science and the occult in twisted experiments involving once fallen soldiers. You and your fellow new recruits will have to escape by your way out room by room, or else fall victim to the doctor's grotesque experiments. With scenes so brutal and so terrifying, you'll leave with the hairs on your neck on end, and dinner rising up your throat. This Haunted House is the real deal, with offensive, gory, and even nude content--so the faint of heart need not enter. If you're feeling scared already, don't worry, you can grab some liquid courage before entering at The Splatter Lounge. Calm your nerves with your favorite beverage and watch horror movies, sideshow performers, and catch live entertainment by Atlanta's best independent bands. The crew behind Chambers of Horror are the same people who have been haunting this town for several years now with such events as Splatter Cinema, Atlanta Horrorfest, Silver Scream Spookshow, Zombie Walk Atlanta, the Crypt of Terror Haunted House at the Graveyard Tavern, plus a plethora of other horror-themed events over the years. Their team has highly experienced haunted house technicians who devote their lives to the horror industry. They're all horror geeks and enthusiasts as well as some of the city's most talented FX artists, marketing gurus, and event promoters. They are also twisted as hell.
