From the heart of Houston you can Samba, Saco, Salsa and Calyspo to the colorful and musical celebration of Carnival, a festival performed across the globe. Carnival Houston will be showcasing music, food, costumes, and dances from countries in South and Central America, the Caribbean, and from our own New Orleans Mardi Gras! This celebration of life and cultural diversity spans over 4 days and includes a masquerade, costume contest, paint party, beauty pageant, and of course, the day parade - where you can experience an "explosion" of music, food, floats, and costumes from around the world. When day turns to night, dance your way into the after-party where you'll celebrate Carnival well into the morning!

Carnival Houston is an annual event to celebrate Carnival from around the world. Features an array of beautiful costumes from the Caribbean, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, Argentina, Barbados, Dominican Republic. Celebrating the legacy of what carnival is to everyone no matter their background. We want to Showcase Houston, the 3rd largest city in United States to be a central hub to visit and experience that which is carnival. We aim to place Houston on the map as one of the place to visit and be to experience Carnival at it best! The setting will be set as the one similar to that of Rio De Janeiro.
