Call of the Sea - Sausalito

• A ticket is required for all passengers, including infants. Children 17 and under must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult
• Starting September 1, 2021, Proof of Vaccination is required for all passengers age 12 or older to board the ship

• The Matthew Turner is a 132’ wooden brigantine, built in Sausalito, CA, launched in 2017 and sailing the Bay since 2020
• Enjoy an exciting sail and learn about maritime heritage and the art of sailing a traditionally rigged tall ship ship!

• Community sails are open to all ages and no sailing experience is necessary!
• Check in is at the start time of the event or shortly thereafter, followed by boarding. No need to come earlier than the posted start time
• Matthew Turner has a public restroom on board. Restroom is available for use one at a time
• Bring a reusable water bottle to ensure you stay hydrated. You may bring food and beverages if packaged in single serving portions
• Light refreshments are available on all public sails
• Dress in layers: a windbreaker, warm base layer, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and comfortable shoes. No high heels are permitted
• Cameras are welcome, but water can sometimes splash aboard. Protect your equipment accordingly
• Free parking is available in the US Army Corps of Engineer Bay Model Visitor Center lot. Based on recent trends, parking may be limited in the Bay Model parking lot due to Sea Trek Kayaking and the Bay Model being very busy in the mornings and early afternoons. Spillover parking is available on Bridgeway (non metered all day spots) and along Liberty Ship Way in front of #10 Libertyship Way in the yellow zones
• There is a minimum ticket threshold per sailing, if less than 12 tickets are sold the event may be canceled. Tickets are refunded or transferred to another date
• On rare occasions it is necessary to cancel or change the time of an event due to weather
• Covid 19 Safety Protocols
• Starting September 1, 2021, Proof of Vaccination is required for all passengers age 12 or older to board the ship
• Masks are required for all passengers
• Health check for all passengers before boarding
• Social distancing of 6' between people if they are not in the same household
• Vessel surfaces are sanitized before sailing
• Hand sanitizer will be available for frequent use by all passengers
