Once upon a time, beer festivals only existed in Germany during Oktoberfest. Now (thankfully!) they're here and right next door. The Annual California Beer Festival is hosting a three day event in Ventura at the beautiful Mission Park, and it's going to be a blast. Sunday is the Blues and Brews Festival, where there's fun for the entire family. Bring your blankets, picnic baskets, and shades for one of the best festivals on this side of the Rockies. While you and the kiddies (if you have 'em) sit back on the grass for a fantastic blues concert, the adults can wash it down with some ice cold craft brews. California's already known for its great wines, now it’s time to make way for its great beers!

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Downtown Ventura Organization to foster a vibrant commercial and cultural district.
