Butterfly Farms is a fun, yet educational experience where guests can surround themselves in the world of butterflies. Sadly, butterfly diversity has decreased alarmingly around the world, pointing to the need for places like Butterfly Farms, where environmental management and better public education take the forefront. At Butterfly Farms they study Southern California native butterflies. Using the Monarch as a teaching model, they research Western Monarch migration and their resident Monarchs. Come on out to have a bit of fun and learn what part you can play in saving this beautiful creature.

Butterfly Farms was established 2012 because of the concern with the decline of native butterflies and other native pollinators. It is a California nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to education, conservation and research of our important pollinators. They study the host and nectar plant relationships of pollinators using the Monarch Butterfly as their model.
